What I’ve been drinking – Los Bellotos (Single Origin Roasters)

Started the day well with a delicious pour over of this El Salvador single origin and it was deeeeeeelicious. While my eyebrows were certainly raised at the mention of “tomato plant” in the tasting notes, it made perfect sense as I started to drink. The apple cider flavour was much harder to catch as it was quickly dominated by the other flavours as the coffee opened up, but with such a smooth finish, it was an overall awesome experience.

As an espresso it pulled no punches. Still with the smooth finish, the soft tones of tomato came hard and fast. Missed most of the apple vinegar, but enjoyed it none the less.

All in all, it was an awesome start to the day.
