*Can I have my next coffee with a dash of candied lemon?*
Um so, I walked into Salvage to see what was on offer, and they had a stash of Proud Mary’s Kenya ‘Kichwa Tembo AA that they were willing to share. While the zesty brightness was not a massive surprise being that it is Kenyan, the balance they’ve found with the sweetness reminds me of sucking on candied lemons.
Surprisingly with the warmth of the coffee and rich complexity in the after-taste… it really works.
Nice to see that I don’t have to go to Melbourne to try great Melbourne coffee. 🙂
