This coffee certainly wins coffee of the day, and coming from the Mecca roasters it is not a massive surprise. This single origin was from Hunapu in Antigua, made with the Caturra and Bourbon varieties.The care that is taken in this cafe with each coffee is striking. The result on this occasion was an extremely well expressed cup, starting with a spiced floral aroma, moving through a smooth brown sugar caramel and a clean finish. A superb cup, and well worth the walk.
