Cafe Review

Wandering the back streets of Nara, not really where I was, or where I was going, I came across Coffee Beans Rococo. Seeing their “Specialty Coffee” sign, and the roaster in the front window, my interest was peaked.

As random cafes go, this place was amazing! Not only was the coffee delicious, the staff were attentive, and took the time to make recommendations. It certainly didn’t hurt that the person serving me won 2nd place in this year’s Japanese aeropress competition, as he was really knowledgeable about the coffee that they were serving.

About the only caution is that along with the high quality of the coffee served here comes along a higher than usual price. That said, I think it is still totally worth it, and if you are in Nara, and love coffee, this is where you need to stop.
