Love this place. Love the vibe. Love the passion for coffee. As a cafe it provides an awesome atmosphere to sample new coffees straight from their roaster (now in St Peters), and as an incubator for coffee talent in Sydney, it works wonders. There are so many staff who “graduate” from this cafe to open their own, it is like a side business. 🙂
Today I started with a Colombian (Ginza) single origin and the citrus whack was like a hit of wasabi. It came, developed and then disappeared. A gorgeously smooth and warm coffee with a great finish. #nomnomnom
Then I had to try their Indonesian (Kuda Mas) had me puckering up like I had a shot of limoncello. Yet, given a moment, the flavour mellowed out and left a robust warm flavour. Starting with the Honduras espresso I had at Coffee Alchemy, and then the Colombian, and now this, the citrus has been ramped up and up and up. Might new to chew on a lemon next just to finish of the journey. 🙂
Very enjoyable coffee experience as always.
