Corduroy Cafe - Surry Hills
When in Sydney CBD and I’m looking for a little out of the way place that serves awesome coffee, this is often where I will head. The home of (what I call) my double fisted coffee, where I am served a cold drip and a ristretto of single origin coffee. Today my double fist is an espresso of Ethiopian yirgacheffe and a cold drip of Indonesian Kiramas.

The Ethiopian had an intense rich flavour, with a small (smaller than expected) hit of brightness. Very warm and smooth finish, with a bit of buttery texture. By comparison the Kiramas is chocolaty, rich, and smooth with a hint of port. Totally unexpected flavours, which is what makes the experience worthwhile. 🙂

This is one of those cafes that understands and supports my passion for coffee, and as such, I keep coming back.
